Bio: I'm one of the old-timers here at Entrust, coming up on my ninth anniversary. I've had the good fortune to spend that time working with customers and our development team to deliver solutions, acting in product management, marketing and now technology evangelist roles. This latest job means I get to spend even more time outside of our four walls here, getting a sense for what our customers are trying to accomplish. Before Entrust, I worked in technology and management jobs in the high tech and aerospace sectors. Academically, I've got a BEng (Electrical) from the Royal Military College of Canada and an MBA.
My intent for this blog is to share views on more of the practical side of Identity. While the Identity Gang look at these issues from a framework/concept/standards perspective (which is absolutely critical), I'm a bit more focused on helping customers make decisions today on the application of these concepts. I hope that in time, this will provide a forum for the sharing of real-life experiences on the Identity front.
