When I saw the headline "IBM announces 31 SOA products, including Ajax portal" my initial reaction was along the lines of "that seems like a lot to choose from - probably need a few IBM consultants to help you choose.". Then my inner nerd awoke and said "no, it's not really that many". You see if you only need to pick 1 you could store your 0 to 31 choice in just 5 bits.
