Original Blog Entry Located Here Filed In: IT Management Jeremiah Owyang, director of corporate media strategy at PodTech.net, has a great analysis blog on the state of B2B podcasting. This is clearly a powerful informational medium and distribution capability that is in early innings. Jeremiah, however, did not dwell on the cost and value -- the economics of B2B podcasting.Yet many of those using B2B podcasts -- internally produced or viathird parties (and as one I may be biased) -- are getting great valuevia the podcasting/transcript/blog triumvirate. The cost savings comein both the ability to capture a lot of knowledge (via phone calls) andthen package and distribute it globally via a network asdiverse-yet-targeted as iTunes to, well, KnowledgeStorm and Blogger.
