I just got back from spending 10 near-perfect days in Italy: Venice, Florence, and Rome.
The weather, food, and people were all outstanding. And we visited Christine in her Villa north of Rome on her "big" birthday.
But as nice a trip as it was, it's great to be back in New England.
Boston is best in May: 65-72 degrees, sunny, slight breeze, and colors/fragrences everywhere with trees flowering.
