Original Blog Entry Located Here Filed In: Open Source | Platforms NeoLinux default install: Here's another Linux distribution which includes Adobe Flash Player and Adobe Reader as part of its core capability. "Neoware, Inc., which ships more Linux-based thin clients than any other vendor, announces the release of NeoLinux 4.0, the next generation of Neoware's embedded open source operating system... NeoLinux 4.0 provides IT professionals with a robust, best-in-class thin client operating system. Featuring an optional, easy-to-use PC-style user interface, NeoLinux 4.0 is at once familiar and accessible, simplifying end user training needs and encouraging the broader adoption of Linux-based thin clients within an organization... NeoLinux 4.0's new features and capabilities include... Native Firefox Web browser, as well as native Java 2, Macromedia Flash Player, and Adobe Acrobat Reader." I don't have a full list of all Linux distributions which include Player and Reader, but I like seeing how these clientside engines are taken for granted, as a core part of any computing experience.
