Founded March 2006

A place to hear the people shaping technology.

Technology Voices was founded when the volume of new blogs made it difficult for professionals to keep up with who was publishing and what mattered.

The mission

Connect informed voices with decision makers.

The original goal was to publish information obtained from some of the smartest minds in the technology industry while helping connect them to a larger audience of decision makers.

For readers, the site created one place to hear opinions from established leaders and discover voices they might not otherwise encounter. Contributor entries pointed back to their authors, opening a direct channel between writer and reader.

That mission remains useful. Technology is easier to understand when ideas are attached to people, roles, organizations and a point in time.
